On August 13 2024 our chairman Monique gave a presentation to the (female) members of Probus Prómina Weert.

PROBUS is a community for retired and semi-retired people sharing ideas and information, coordinating opportunities for friendship, fellowship, and social interaction.

This (ladies) club was a mixed group amazing women, amongst others doctors, teachers, company owners and/or directors, and attachment specialists.

Of course they were asked the question "Just imagine you were to die today, where do you want your child(ren) to grow up? In an institution like an orphanage or in a family?" And then I ask them to write down why they choose for the option of their choice. See their response in the picture on the left.Two Post-it notes where in between the two options. One chose 'weeshuis' which is Dutch for orphanage.

This caused, amongst others, a lot of discussion, which is one of the goals of our presentation.
