On request on February 27th our chair gave the presentation ‘Every Child A Family’ for members of Lions van Weert Graafschap Horne. A speech about her personal development from fundraising for an orphanage to advocate for children to grow up in their own family.

27 people attended the presentation.

Of course they were also asked the question "Just imagine you were to die today, where do you want your child(ren) to grow up? In an institution like an orphanage or in a family?" And then I ask them to write down why they choose for the option of their choice. See their response in the picture on the left. Only one placed the Post-it in the middle.

The presentation a lot of discussion, which is one of the goals of our presentation.

You can see their response in the picture on the left. Two Post-it notes where in between the two options. One chose 'weeshuis' which is Dutch for orphanage.

This outcome and presentation caused, amongst others, a lot of discussion, which is one of the goals of our presentation.
